Our Vision
"We strive to enable one another to grow closer to God in our daily lives; to see others reach their full spiritual potential and to be sure that all who draw near to us, come to know Jesus Christ as their God and Savior."
As
you visit Calvary Bible Church you may find some of your friends,
neighbors, or relatives from around the Grand Valley. We are the people
who live and work in the community with you. We are school teachers,
farmers, business people, carpenters, students, electricians, and many
retired from these careers all joined together in a loving family
affair.
You see, we are people just like you who gather together to encourage
one another and to learn about life and living from our guide, the Word
of God.
We
are people who come from different religious backgrounds. Some of us were raised in
churches and others discovered the truths of the Bible later on in life.
Most of us belonged to some denomination at one time or another. We were
Lutherans, Methodists, Catholics, Presbyterians, and Baptists, but now
it is our common belief in the Bible and the Person and work of Jesus
Christ that brings us all together.
We
are a group of people that desire to grow closer to God in our daily
lives and to see others reach their full spiritual potential as well.
