OF 1 CORINTHIANS " (Pastor
Dennis Finnan, Speaking) - On Sunday mornings, Pastor Dennis is currently
teaching expositorily through the Book of 1 Corinthians. Pastor Dennis
uses extensively a multimedia presentation along with dynamic preaching to
bring you the fullest messages possible from the Word of God.

OF JOHN" (Pastor Virgil
W. Christophersen, Speaking)- On Sunday evenings Pastor Virgil has begun a
verse by verse study of the Gospel of John. Emphasizing practical
application, this study will show us why the fact that Jesus is God
matters in our daily lives. Come join us for these studies every Sunday at
Calvary.

On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm under the direction of Jeff & Pat Phillips, the 6th through 12th graders meet for bible study, fellowship and fun. Also, bring your pre-teen along for our great AWANA ministry.
On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm from September through April, we host the award winning AWANA youth ministry for children, pre-school through fifth grade. Bring your children, sign them up for a fun time. The AWANA ministry has games, rallies, bible memorization, handbooks, awards, and lots and lots of competitive fun. There are dues of $ 1.00 per night per clubber with discounts for multiple children and advance payment. Also there is a modest and low-cost for uniform shirts and blouses, and clubber handbooks. Details are available at registration time.
PLEASE NOTE: Calvary Bible Church's AWANA ministry is an exclusive outreach of the membership of this Church. Each worker in AWANA is carefully evaluated, and examined for stability, safety, and spiritual commitment to the teachings of historic Christianity as outlined in our doctrinal statement. You can depend upon and trust our leaders with your children to love and care for them and protect them while in their care.
Also on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 pm, Pastor Dennis hosts a community Bible study for adults. This is followed by a Prayer Time for the church.
GROWTH GROUPS WEEKLY HOME BIBLE STUDIES
Each week Calvary Bible Church hosts in home bible studies and fellowship times. Families meet together in "growth groups" to interact on a personal level and fellowship, along with a bible study. Please contact the church office for the times and places of these ministries. You are encouraged to attend.

SCHOOL
Every Sunday Morning at 9:00 am, Calvary Bible Church has Sunday School for the entire family. Classes include Truth Quest for the children, as well as several classes for adults to chose from.
MONTHLY MEN'S FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST
Every first Saturday of the month, (October through May,) the Bible Church hosts a Men's Fellowship Breakfast. All men are invited to attend at 8:30 a.m. at the church. There will be always be a spiritual challenge, hearty breakfasts, singing and testimonies and a time for prayer.

WEEKLY ELDERLY CARE MINISTRY
On Sunday afternoons at 2:30 pm, Calvary hosts a special elderly care worship service at "The Residence," an assisted living care facility in Grand Junction. This enables us to share Jesus Christ with the many who live there and often cannot go to church. We have four men who care for this ministry -- Archie Kliewer, Chuck Bray, and Matt McChesney are our weekly pastoral care leaders.
Our Director of Evangelism and Outreach, Mr. Chuck Bray leads this work of the Church. Twice annually he hosts evangelism training classes, along with opportunities to share the faith of our church with the public around us. Through a "Farmer's Market" booth and outreach in the summer months, to shopping Mall outreach and programs -- we share the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ with our community. If interested please consider joining this ministry.
PRAISE CHOIR & ADULT CHOIR
Calvary Bible Church hosts two choir groups that meet throughout the year. If you have singing voice and would love to sing to the Lord, consider joining one or both of these two groups of your choice.
(1) The PRAISE CHOIR is composed of all those who enjoy some of the contemporary music that is popular among the younger generation today. This choir sings regularly once a month and at special occasions.
(2) The ADULT CHOIR meets and practices for special seasonal events such as Memorial Day or July 4th, Thanksgiving time and a special Christmas event. For these occasions special Cantata's for the Church are prepared and sung.
